So my original review is a little lackluster, and without the knowledge that this book would stew in my mind for years afterward. Marriage for One – and everything else by Ella Maise (which I’ve adored most of!) – was released before I started my blog. So it’s an interesting book to look back on with fondness, and acknowledge just how influential it has been to my reading since. It was also one of the beefiest books I had read at the time, and trends have definitely moved in that direction these days. It’s the book that made me fall hard for marriage of convenience romances, and that’s something that has not changed in the years since. It’s been almost four years(!!) since this book released, and I still get butterflies whenever I see the cover.
